I have been wearing custom made orthopaedic boots of the finest quality for 50 years, starting with pairs from John Lobb, St James, London, boot makers to the Royal Family.

I put comfortable footwear above all else, and despite the infirmity of my right foot, I also seek to have them made to look similar for aesthetic reasons. A difficult task for a boot maker, as I can be somewhat demanding. But first Kenn, and now Jared also, have produced 5 pairs of boots for me over 15 years, all to my complete satisfaction.

They are not cheap, but the integrity of workmanship and quality of materials make them outstanding value, as my black boots with cowboy heel, worn almost every day, are now in their 10th year and are almost as new, with one re-build. I now live in the U.K. and plan to continue to deal with Lobel and son for many years to come. In fact, I have just e-mailed them concerning a pair of very special boots, to satisfy my boot fettish.

I mean, if you have problem feet, why not make the best of it.
